Cola can be so much more than just a cola. There’s two main brands that dominate the market which can make other varieties harder to find. Sure there’s often store brand versions of the two main brands, but there’s more out there to choose from. Once you start looking, you may find that there’s quite a few options, they just aren’t easy to find. Fentimans Cherry Cola is one of the better ones. This cola is non-GMO verified which mainstream companies cannot say about their main products. It isn’t just about that though. What makes this cola unique is that it is botanically brewed. They use actual cherry juice and fermented ginger root to create this with. It is sweetened with beet sugar, but it’s non-GMO and beets can be very sweet. There’s a couple more ingredients including caffeine. When searching for alternative colas to try, they are often caffeine free. Sometimes you want caffeine free and sometimes you don’t. It doesn’t specify how much is in it, but I would imagine about 35 to 45 mg or so. Open one of these and take a sip and it will seem like it was straight out of a fountain. The ultimate expression of ‘soft drink’ I call it. There’s a nice balance of flavors between a solid cola background with a light cherry flavor up front. How cherry cola should be!
Cherry cola just sounds like something from your childhood. To take a great creation like cola and then add cherry flavor to it is happiness. Fentimans makes what may be the best cola out there. Their ginger brew has plenty of bite too in a unique way. Botanical brew may not be what comes to mind when you think of cola, but it makes it all that much better. These colas just taste like an authentic soft drink with a sweet cherry flavor to them. You can’t go wrong with Fentimans!
