The terms listed below determine rather or not you may be using our services. These terms apply to everyone that arrives on our website including members and people just browsing the internet in general. The services we offer here are free to everyone as long as you agree to the terms listed in this agreement. You must accept all of our terms in order to take part in the experience we offer. In order to sign up and create an account with us, you also accept our privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service may be updated at any given time. Therefore we advise you to review them regularly. By doing so you can decide if you still agree with our terms. By accepting our agreements now, you automatically accept any updates to our terms of service or privacy policy that we make if as long as you are still using our services. If there’s ever an update to our terms of service or privacy policy you don’t agree with, then you are in violation of our terms until you decide to agree with them. We will NEVER sell your information, so you can be assured that you won’t find that in a later update of terms. If you do not accept our terms and you still use our service, then you are in violation of our terms of service and must stop using our service immediately.
Definitions
- We, Our, and Us:

- User and Member:
Anyone who goes to https://packagedfoodreviews.com/ and browses our site in any way is a user. That includes just reading our content, being a contributing member, or doing anything at all to make use of our site. A member is someone who creates a free account with us which will include a name, member name, and email address that identifies their account as a member. A member can also be considered a user, but a user without an account is not considered a member. For most websites using their services even if you aren’t logged in will likely require accepting their terms of service at least to some extent if not completely.
- Account:
An account is what you have when you sign up with us. It’s nothing financial. It is your member/user name, email address, password, and any other information that you provide n order to use our services. Your passwords are only available to you and not even us. Your email address is not displayed publicly and only visible to you from your account settings and us. Everything that makes up your member profile and all comments, reviews, and media that you upload to your profile make up your account. At any point in time you can export (meaning download) all of your data associated with account by visiting your member profile and clicking on the preferences option from the drop down arrow, then clicking on the account tab. - Browse, Browses, Browsing:
Any navigating, reading, or clicking links with a computer mouse, a track-pad, a smartphone, tablet, or any other internet device that displays from one part of a website to another.
- Comment, and Comments:
Anything anyone says that is posted on our site. Some comments are a form of review on our site referred to as a comments. The opinions and expressions of our members are known as comments here.
- Media:
Any content in the form of images, pictures, animated pictures, audio, or video. At the time of this update, there is no video or audio upload function available on this site, but may be eventually.
- Online Community:
An online community is a group or groups of members that may share information content, or media online. Our online community may also chat, talk, make friends, and create and join groups.
- Opinion, and Opinions:
An opinion is a personal perspective, feeling, experience, or just one’s own words about something. For example, one person might say “it’s hot outside today” and somebody else in the same place might say “it’s cold outside today”. Those are opinions based on one’s own perspective and not facts. Another example that more relates to this website is; somebody might say “This is Really Awesome Pizza!” and somebody else might say about this about it “This Tastes Like Cardboard!“. Again, those are opinions based on one’s own perspective and not facts. Opinions are what reviews are all about and are encouraged here.
- Entertainment:
Entertainment is something people do for fun or amusement. Going to a movie theater to watch a movie, going to a carnival, and mountain bike riding are examples of entertainment. Browsing through social media can also be considered entertainment.
- Content:
Everything that is contained in something. Two examples are all of the ingredients in a bag of chips and everything in a newspaper. Those are contents. Anything published on our website for the viewing of anyone who goes to our site are content here. Content includes everything published on our site by all of our members including public viewable content, private content, members only content, and group content.
- Offensive content:
Offensive content on our site is any content containing nudity, profanity, gore, or racism. Also, any sort of direct threats is offensive content. Offensive content is NOT someone just saying something you just don’t like or don’t agree with. Nobody will force you to talk to people you don’t agree with here.
Our Member Experience
https://packagedfoodreviews.com is a review website centered around the member experience. Our website is about sharing experiences with packaged foods. We offer the ability to share your experiences and read about the experiences of others. We offer sharing experiences through “reviews”, “comments”, and our “online community”. Our online community section allows far more conversation and posting options than just that of packaged foods. You can make friends, create and join group, directly chat privately with one another, and much more. Establishing a nice member profile is a way for you to express some of your personality and bring your profile to life. Consider the average social media website is all about your profile and online presence. If you want to share family pictures with each other or talk about your day, you can. Sharing with our online community may lead to people wanting to read your more of your reviews which is a good thing. However this is a food review website, so keeping experiences around food is preferred, but not required. Just a good balance between your personality and food is great. Who you are is important, so you can share that with others or keep it private, it’s up to you. Each post you make while under the activity stream has an option to choose the privacy setting for who you want to share it with. Any food reviews under the main page using our write a new review link will go through the approval process. Upon approval, your reviews will go live so everyone can see them. The reviews will show your display name which you can choose at setup and under member profile as the user name option. If someone clicks on your display name it will show any reviews you have written along with any public activities from you, but it will not show anything marked as private, site members only, or friends only. Showing some personality can make your food reviews seem more interesting to people. Any experiences that are shared are of the “opinions” of actual people. We are NOT responsible for any information written by our members. All reviews and comment reviews must go through an approval process before being published on our site for online viewing. We will not edit your reviews and comments, so it’s up to you to check for spelling errors and so on. “No individual” may be held accountable for any inaccuracy of their reviews or comments. These “reviews” and “comments” written by our members are for entertainment purposes only. If you feel there is a serious problem in any content posted on our site, please contact us through the “contact us” link located at our main menu towards the top or our website or the bottom menu. Under the In the “members area” of our site is a “recent activity” section for member posts and comments. If there is offensive content there, click on a small triangle in the upper right corner of the post to “report” it as offensive. Any content that is reported goes through a process for us to decide if we will take it down. You can also use the “report” option for inappropriate or spam posts. Please only use the report option if there is actually a really good reason for it.
Who Can Participate in our Experience?
We strive to provide a wonderful experience to everyone that we can. However, anyone under 13 years of age is not allowed to create an account with us and use our services. It’s nothing personal, there’s just guideline we must follow in order to provide all of our services to you. Anyone who signs up with us must be the legal age of consent for the location which you are in. When you do anything online there is data being processed. We do not share or sell your data; however, we are not responsible for what other websites do. We are Not in the market to sell your data. Any information you give us even if it’s only basic information, you MUST BE OF THE AGE OF CONSENT for your location. As long as you are above the age of 13 and not legally prohibited or instructed by a parent or guardian not to use our service, then you are welcome to sign up and take part in our online experience.
Online Community
At Packaged Food Reviews we want to provide you “our members” with the best online experience we can offer you. So, we have an online community that allows our members to create a name for yourselves and get noticed if you so desire. Our activity section for our online community may appear more like the interface you may be accustomed to from other social media websites. This familiarity should help you navigate and grow accustomed to our website. Our online community experience provides our members the ability to interact with each other. Such interactions may include; likes, comments, media uploads, friends, groups, online chat, and any other features we may come to provide to you. How much you share about you and your experiences is up to you. It is all optional. In order to leave reviews or comments anywhere on our site, you must set up a user account. There is a minimal amount of information required to set up your account. You then have the option to choose who if anyone at all you share that information with through account settings in our members area. You don’t have to participate in our online community if you don’t want to. However when you post or comment on a review on our site, it may show up under the activity feed of our site. That doesn’t require you to interact with that section of our site though. It is a service we provide that helps you come together with others and directly share and discuss your experiences. Our online community is optional to participate in just like many other social media experiences out there. For example, you can set up an account with many other services out there and just see what is going on for others that they are sharing. You can become friends and create groups and even private message each other directly. Most importantly online community interaction is optional. Take part in it if you so choose to. If there’s anything about it that you think we can improve, please contact us and let us know so we know what improvements our members would like to see. If you don’t want to take part in our online community, you don’t have to. We want you to have the best experience we can offer. If anyone violates any of our agreement through the online community, please report using the three dots that look like this (…) in the upper right corner of the post and then click the triangle to report it. Then contact us through the contact us link if you still feel it’s necessary.We would like for our members to stay, enjoy, and make use of our service, so if there is a problem, let’s try to resolve it peacefully.
Reviews
Reviews are the main reason we are here. Our website is all about the reviews. Please feel free to read and write as many reviews as your heart desires. The reviews posted on our website are what can help people decide what foods to try next or which ones may not be for them. Although we say that the reviews on our site are NOT FACTS, they are ACTUAL EXPERIENCES by REAL PEOPLE. So as with anything else in life, you can decide for yourself what you will buy and what you will not. The reviews on our website are NOT responsible for the lack of sale of products or brand defamation. That all being said, when you write a review on our site, be honest and say what you really think about the product rather you love it, hate it, or anything in between. We really want to have limitless amounts of reviews on our site for everyone. Reviews must go through an approval process before going live on our website just like most review sites. Generally, you submit your review and usually within 48 hours or less it will be published upon approval. We will not spell check or edit your review in any way. So as long as your review isn’t in violation of our agreement or privacy policy, it will go live upon approval. So if you have spelling or other errors, please catch them before your review goes live. If you catch something you want corrected after your review is live, you can contact us to change it to your liking. You may be able to edit the post yourself and resubmit for approval, but that may not always be the case. This website was born in 2019, so please be patient with us.
Offensive Content
We will not tolerate any offensive content. Subjects of offensive content include, nudity, racism, profanity, and gore. We also will not tolerate any form of abusive language or threats towards us or any of our members. Discussion of religion and/or politics will not be tolerated on our site either as it can lead to aggression among members that disagree with one another. We want to avoid conflicts, aggression, and violence towards one another and keep a peaceful environment for people to share experiences and learn from one another. When people don’t agree on topics like religion and politics, they can get really upset, aggressive, and it can lead to problems. We just want to keep that from happening here, it’s nothing personal. We want to maintain a peaceful experience. Any sort of issues with members we would like to resolve peacefully, have you stay as members, and enjoy our services for years to come. If any of our members become a serious problem for us or other members, it could result in their membership may be terminated, and they will not be allowed to use our services. Offensive content however is Not just something you don’t agree with, it’s something that might actually be a serious problem for lots of people. Generally speaking, we want to keep our site at most a PG13 rating. If you notice any offensive content, please report it if the option is available and contact us right away to inform us of all the details of where you found it on our site so that we can resolve the issue.
