What this site is all about

Welcome to Packaged Food Reviews!

My name is Jeremy Boyd and I started building and constructing this website in May of 2019. The official launch date was on August 7, 2022. This website is my solution to what I feel is a much needed service for everyone. When we go shopping rather it’s online, at a farmer’s market, in an actual store, or wherever it may be, there are so many options. So I designed this website to be a centralized service for everyone. This website is designed to grow with more and more  food reviews . Anyone can post product reviews here no matter where they were found. Food reviews here can be read by everyone, and anyone that wants to can write their own review can. With this website people no longer have to visit manufacturer websites with hopes of finding honest reviews. This also eliminates the need of going to multiple websites to find reviews about products. All packaged food reviews can be posted, and reviewed by as many people that want to here. Nobody is paid to write reviews here, so you can be assured all reviews are honestly written. As this website grows with more members and reviews, it will serve a purpose for everyone. Here’s a simple breakdown of how it works;  Through our free signup a person becomes a member ,  then they can write a review about a packaged food of their choice, then upload at least one photo so everyone can see exactly which product it is. Members can review products that are already on this website without adding a photo. Next choose a rating, write something about the product and post the review.  When someone writes a review, their display name is shown at the top of the post so you know it’s a real person. You can write about products you like and products you weren’t impressed with. So if you try something you really don’t like and want others to avoid the mistake, please share that too! Then everyone can read the reviews. Members can then review the same product with their experience with it and explain why they like or dislike it. They can even upload their own photos from their experience with it if they want to. Photos help people visualize your experience. The more reviews there are, the more effective the star rating will be just like any other sites with multiple reviews. A product doesn’t have to already be on this site to review it, you can be the first! As more and more reviews are added, the easier it will be to see what others have to say. You can look up products with our search options or browse through categories from our menu to see if what you are looking for is here. If your product is not here  similar suggestions may appear in results. When you are shopping and are not sure if you should try a new product or not, you can look it up on this site. This site is relatively new right now, so when this was first posted on August 7, 2022 there was only 76 products. (update, as of 4/17/2024 there are now 195 posts). I will keep writing reviews and hopefully others will join in. The more reviews that are written, the more useful this site is for everyone. Also, there’s another part to this site for those who want to interact with one another. There’s an activity section where you can make friends, create and join groups, direct private message each other, and more! I have put countless hours into the creation of Packaged Food Reviews and I will continue to improve and add to it. I’m open to suggestions. Please enjoy this site and share it with others.
