Hill’s Smoked Ham Steak
Ham Steak, It’s what’s for breakfast!
Ham steak is one of those simple breakfast options where there’s not much to it. Clearly it’s not for vegetarians and isn’t the healthiest of options, but if you are open to it, this is a good one! These ham steaks are smoked and already cooked, so you could just eat them cold if you want to. I like to warm mine up in a pan or on a skillet to go along with eggs for a nice simple breakfast packed with protein. The size of these steaks are nice and thick while being only about 6 ounces each. A lot of ham steaks out there are much larger and then you’re tempted to just eat the whole thing. These give you the option of just one small one at a time. They’re nice and tender with a nice light flavor. They’re not overly salty like ham steaks can be some times. The Hill’s Premium Meats company is based out of Pendleton, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest. It’s a small family owned and operated business with decades of experience in the pork business. Their pigs diet on high quality vegetarian feed. Sure you might see some ingredients on the label that aren’t that healthy, but they do not use fillers, msg, or soy. Besides, life should be enjoyed and these are delicious!

Great for lunch!
What I like about these ham steaks is that they are already cooked. These are cut nice and thick compared to regular lunch meat, so they make for a special treat. When you make your lunch sandwich, instead of reaching for lunchmeat, reach for one of these. It will create a nice filling sandwich for a satisfying lunch. Ham may not be the healthiest food, but these sure make a nice lunch. Much more enjoyable than paper thin lunch meat. When you buy these steaks you are also support a small family owned business and not some giant corporation. So cheers to the Hill’s family!
